Job Description:

> Analyze the given requirements and raise clarifications proactively

> Document and implementing test strategies and plans

> Plan and manage test activities for full project lifecycle

> Provide client UAT support and consulting services

> Design test cases for positive and negative scenarios as per the requirements

> Performing functional, integration and regression testing

> Provide clear documentation of defects in defect tracking tool

> Provide leadership support for onshore and offshore testing teams

> Work closely with the development team to resolve defects

> Determine the amount of test coverage that is appropriate for the project and work with resource managers for staffing

> Responsible for requirements traceability matrix

> Executing test cases and reporting test results

> Preparing/contributing towards estimation and sizing of testing activities

> Performing metrics collection and status reporting

> Following the defined QA processes

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

> Over 3-5 years of experience in IT as a QA lead

> Pega application test experience preferred

> Onshore/offshore model with extensive client handling experience in insurance domain, preferred

> Onsite client UAT support experience

> Coordination with BAs and Development lead experience

> Experience in writing and implementing test plans and strategies

> Experience defining test scope & designing test scenarios

> Peer review of test scenarios and test cases

> Regression test plan development

> Agile experience preferred

> Planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any engagement

> Strong knowledge of defect management life cycle

> Experience in different types of testing – Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Data Testing, Security Testing,

> Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging work environment

> Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral/written communication & influencing skills · Exceptional presentation, good analytical, diagnostic and creative problem-solving skills.
